We placed my father here in June 2015 from a place in TX because the rest of my family had moved to Georgia and we thought it best to have him near the family Within 4 months, he was drugged into a compliant stupor and confined to a wheelchair or his bed from medications NOT because he is unable to walk. Last night, he was admitted to the hospital with a necrotic bed sore. He is looking at months of wound care and physical therapy. If you love your family member and care about their well-being DO NOT place them here.
If I could've given them a half of a star I would my granny was placed at the home and when I visited her her room smelled horrible when I opened her closet she had bags of soiled linen and clothes in her closet we moved her about a week or so later the worse nursing home I've ever been in
